Did you try many other models before buying it?
The Little Dot II (nul!!) The ProJect headbox II (largely inadequate) The Lehmann Audio Rhinelander (good but with acute wheezing in very unpleasant listening long).
What is so special that you like most and least?
-Most: the only amp that has managed to reveal my bass on AKG 501, while maintaining the natural sound of the scepter.
Not fatigue the ears, it is soft and neutral, but as pungy must!
Manufacturing solid!
I have not found any as good amp in this price range!
-The -: impedance settings that require opening the unit. A book so for one or two identical headphone.
Screws on the sides are not very well designed, they tend to loosen. I lost ...
How do you rate the quality / price?
As mentioned above, without comparison in this price range (except for musical fidelity) holds a candle against much more expensive devices.
With experience, you do again this choice?
Without hesitation! Especially if you use stereo headphones with your mid-range, it will also be able to driver headphones luxury as the HD 800 or other Ultrasone ... A sustainable purchasing, perhaps for life!
