The Godin kingpin CW ii is manufactured in Canada.
Hard maple neck attached, cherry table and molded body. Mine is cognac burst finish. 21 frets. Godin Tusq bridge. Simple two microphones set godin p90 floating on the body. Setting a volume + tone. A three selector positions.Plaque protection godin floating brilliant.

UTILIZATION
The handle, nothing to say, it's godin. Small but super nice. Attention the last boxes are small, without solos acute abstain. The interface is nice, the guitar is very light because the body is small, but balanced. One B flat, my bridge pickup was set too low and the luthier's shop overbooked. I had to put a shim for raising and get the same volume as the neck pickup. Apart from that efficient electronics (volume and tone).
SOUNDS
I play on an amp and a fender EAR hot rod.
Here too it must be said, without treble squeaks and sounds hot abstain.
The kingpin ii godin is primarily an acoustic set on which microphones simple. In addition, the table is ultrathin, a table is not cut and molded into a piece of wood. The sound suffers a lot. That said, it is generally good, very clean and well defined. The pickups respond well to the slightest accent.
In pure acoustic sound like a folk a little more tart, the less volume of a small size. But it's nice.
Neck pickup jazz sound found a very pleasant accompaniment. There are good bass. But on the treble, it's light, it remains clear, no way to cruncher, grind, bend and other stylistic effects. It is rather a guitar accompaniment. In cons pump is very nice.
Bridge pickup is a clear sound that reminds a bit of a piezo. For acccompagnements folk-rock blues is nice. In saturated light is pretty bluesy.

OVERALL OPINION
I for 15 days.
I like that it is enjoyable to play and it sounds sweet.
It is beautiful to watch, raw wood varnish perfect.
I train on it often acoustic.
Before I had an aria pro II and a half box Ibanez AF 105 f.
One can not describe the 5th Avenue compared to another guitar.
For my jazz accompaniments and some picking is fun.
For the price, too.
But do not expect to have more than price.
Godin has cheated on the table design to lower the price. Matches, lack of power in the treble. So no bold blues and jazz shrill.
Besides, it's not for nothing that came out in pure acoustic and with microphones. This guitar is an imitation of the first postwar amplified guitars.
The guitar is fine, I'm happy.
With experience, I know if I would do this rather odd choice for forcing her to rehabilitate ear of new sounds (or very old).
