phenix! phenix!

SCT2000, tube microphone.

As Music007, I almost changed everything except the resistance (very little impact on the signal / noise ratio, already very good, and almost no sound on).

After trying several lamps, I use an Electro Harmonix finally with 12ax7GOLD.

With the lamp, it came back to less than 25 euros.

OVERALL OPINION

As emphasized Music007 without any change at all, I really felt like having a micro better, and this I felt when I plugged in and sing in the first time.

The sound seems more linear than originally defined, more transparent.
I could hardly hear the more aggressive small peaks in the midrange and treble side and the slightly acid in the upper spectrum.
The midrange also seem perfectly clear already that the original is pretty good.
Warm, open and balanced super anything.
The dynamics of transients and the respect is excellent too.

Despite this aspect rather balanced and transparent, the microphone reacts even better depending on the nature of the lamp that he met.
For example, with my Mullard 12at7NOS, rather typed, the sound, though colorful, no longer at the top this aggression and lack the low end, he could have when I used the version in the Mullard T Bone's home.

Really conquered, now if I were to buy a mic, it would fork out much more, I think, to enjoy a real difference.
In any case there is more than I need in terms of quality (but I have enough).

Frankly, it cost the slab all these changes and the result is quite sensational!

Finally, I particularly want to thank Riri912000, the instigator of this change, for his help, advice and explanations given notice, but for the rest (he'll understand ...)
