What are the effects, or types of effects available?
It's a looper, so it can record loops and to import from a computer.

Are they edited? Via an editor Mac / PC?
There is software to manage the loops. Here it gets stuck a little. The app is not stable, uses Silverlight to work and still plant regularly. If there is a downside, it is at the soft.

What technology is used? (Analog, digital, tube ...)
It 16bit/44.1kHz digital stereo. The converters are correct and do not distort the sound if the input and output levels are properly adjusted.

What is the connection? (Audio / MIDI)
Stereo input and output, XLR microphone input, an input for an MP3 player with a headphone output and an output for the click.
A USB port for connection to the computer.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is it simple?
The basic operation is pretty intuitive. We arrive early results. The advanced features are fairly easy to understand.

The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
The manual can be downloaded in French on the Digitech site. It's pretty clear and well explained. We must read the manual because it is not a pedal plug and play with 3 buttons!

Editing sounds and effects is it easy?
On the pedal, no problem. For cons, the software is the m ... It's very unstable and in the encoding parameters (especially at the stereo) it does not always ...

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are they effective, appropriate and realistic enough?
The sound is fairly accurate if you take the time to adjust levels. I had to redo all the patches from my multi-effects to adjust the input level but once done, the sound is very satisfying.
There is no latency in the loop, even when switching from one loop to another. This is very significant.

Which instruments do you use? Which ones you prefer, you hate?
For now I have not tried with voice but for playbacks and guitar loops, great!

OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?
1 month

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Boss RC-3

What is so special that you love the most, least?
+ The stereo
+ The ability to store sounds in an SD card
+ The ability to change easily the foot loop

- The editing software is poor
- The limit of 10 minutes per loop

How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice? ...
I find the value for great price and features are well thought out.
For my current needs, the choice I would do without much hesitation
