NTi Audio updates the XL2 Projector software to its second generation.
The XL2 projector is a complimentary SW tool for visualization of the XL2 screen on a PC.
The projector software, which runs on all Windows PCs, has been reworked. It connects to the XL2 via a USB cable and talks to the instrument via an automatically-assigned COM port.
A functional extension is the ability to switch the XL2, via the XL2 Projector software, between the mass storage mode and the normal remote control operation mode. Thus, a sound location can be measured and the data logged with control through the XL2 Projector. Thereafter the user may switch the instrument into the mass storage mode without physically touching the XL2, and transfer the logged data to the controlling PC for data post-processing.
The XL2 Projector software version 2.0 is available to all registered XL2 users and its download is free of charge.
