The Ibanez Gio is my frist electric guitar. Before I bought it a year ago for aroung $250 I was playing an accoustic guitar.

What I actually like best about the guitar is that the price is very good for the quality you get. The sound is fine for both clean and distorted music.

The handling of the guitar is good.

It features two single coils and one humbucker. And you can adjust tone and volume.

What I don't like:

- The single coils are actually useless
- Too much noise if you play distorted
- The quality of the pickups is not good actually.

The construction of the guitar is ok. You don't have to tune or replace the strings often.
One time a pickup fell off and I had to screw it in again. This means the construction could be even better.

Its a good guitar if you are just a beginner or want to change to an e-guitar from an accoustic.

Anyway it is a beginners guitar and I really want to get another guitar now. I'm going to buy an Ibanez K-7 and sell my Gio.

UTILIZATION

The handle is one of the highlights of the guitar, because, as super fine, it's very easy jouer.Il is a slippery n'tant not painted like the body.

For sound, when you put too much distortion, the pickups are not prcis trs, but is still good.
The sound is clear and crystalline slamming, and I love.

SOUNDS

I play rock / hard rock, and suits me well. It is very well for the AC / DC, but for the mtal microphones must be too tight.
I play on a cube 15 and a pedal for distortion and it's even better!

OVERALL OPINION

I play it since 2 / 3 months, and JLA is still going strong.
For this price it is the trs bien.A this award must be some guitars as well and is nicely finished and more.
If I had to reselect it, I probably repeat

UTILIZATION

So the only good! I wish that I prciser beginners and I get really move quickly with.
The neck is thin and lightweight and Access in acute trs is good because of the form SG.
Ergonomics are also good trs, the guitar is small, not too heavy and its shape makes the game (especially when going to a folk that guitar!).

For sound, I would say bah all fawn, it is above the level of the amp that will play a rglage level.

SOUNDS

Personally, I play a bit of everything from old rock like Led Zepp, at No. Mtal like Deftones and the guitar goes trs many other style.
I play with a small Mini-cube amp Roland.

To clean, the sound is crystalline, it is impeccable.

I did not test with other amps, so I keep Reserved, but I find that the distortion is blah. that's why I put that 8.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month (I started it with a guitar folk for bases).
It bte but what I like +, the design (in white is also nice trs), has changed the Les Paul, Tele and other strato everyone has! !

I do not jou on other guitars, so I do not make a comparison, however, what attracted me was the price for a little lev guitar of this caliber. It is well worth a guitar that would double with another manufacturer.

With experience, I would do this choice?

UTILIZATION

The handle is pleasant rather thin, flat and glides well, it is of the same rather large, especially since I'm used to my copies of mockingbird fernandes and Hybrid Shaft raaaah the frets ... what frets? The handle is enjoyable but if not talk about is not so easy and enjoyable ...
Access to acute and simple, the end of the handle is so easy to DGIG and Accs.

It's a versatile guitar I trs jou gfx3 with a zoom in effect and a 10 watt Ibanez and Laney 30W and the sound between the amp does not vary too much (but can play some prs n 'matter what style).
The sound is a clear (or "fat" or "crystalline").
I love these sonirits (ibanez own) that are slamming.

OVERALL OPINION

I've used for 6 months then my ears have rclam more. I like its shape comfortable to play beginners up.
The report price and quality I think enough INTERESTED would do and I do not choose I would take better now but I strongly advised that beginners do not really know if they will continue the APRS guiatre the purchase or those who just want a scraper to s'clater not really work and technology. - The handle is nice but not great
- There's more, there's worse all depends on the people (for me no problems, a pal who has the same gallery a max)

SOUNDS

The sound is a bit mtallique to beginners (normal is Ibanez), but once the strings are obtained rodes sound did everything correct and versatile. It has a microphone with his Plutt fat and round and another with a more clear and more specific on. By varying the Knob slecteur in shade and you get get good sounds.
The pots and slecteur make no noise, the microphones did not breath and are in good order.

OVERALL OPINION

In the same price range, I failed to choose a Epihpone Les Paul Special II. I tested both and I do not regret my choice because Ibanez GAX30 (wh) is:

-An original look (and carrment mortal!)
-Sound quality (much better than the Les Paul Special II my taste)
-A good finish,
The gear-solid and reliable
Almost one-rplica Les Paul, but without the license (and therefore cheaper and more original)
-An easy instrument to hand, ideal for beginners but also to make the scene more than adequate to express the musician.
A report-quality price!

In this price range, there are lots of shovels and other filthy unplayable shoes that make you ears bleed. L for about 150 was a real guitar (with a good belt and a good house, sold with)!

- I play it with a Roland Cube 60 without any pedal and the sound is quite good

- Brilliant and well-defined clean sound. With a light distortion the sound is also very good (considering it's a budget guitar), but with a fat distortion the sound turns imprecise and you feel that the guitar was not made for that
