Bogner and Line have joined forces to create an amp model combining the expertise of one for tube amps and the other for modeling. Commercial intent, certainly (Bogner out an amp made in Chinese factories Line 6) passion but also because the result is excellent.
At presentation was already an air of Mesa Boogie (grid, pots, calligraphy) harmonious dimensions, the optimal weight and ideal power, the built-in effects make the object immediately attractive.
Chinese manufacturing is very correct, no apparent defects. Lamps and speaker are very well protected from breakage. We can only blame the lack of reinforced corners on the top, a detail ...
The speaker Celestion Vintage 30 is also a good argument given his reputation.

UTILIZATION

Usage is relatively simple: 300 presets + 36 users can be changed at any time. Of course, the presets are not all interesting, but even with that we can find life without too many changes to make.
However, two shortcomings:
1 / the difference in noise level between the factory presets that can blaster ears if we do not blunder to put the volume level or the level of guitar patches to zero between each change. However the level of 36 user selections can be adjusted.
2 / The use onstage difficult without the purchase of a Line 6 pedalboard quite expensive.
Unless you use two or three sound and stay close to the amp, not practical!
And a limit: no ability to download updates, amazing! But hey there what to do with what he already has in the belly!

Otherwise, this amp is the fun you can have fun and a good time to find the sought for years.
Potentiometer patch level can also play home to a low noise level with no real loss of quality.
In addition: a built-in tuner!

SOUNDS

The key word to remember is versatility! This receiver must be purchased by those looking for that quality above all.
I play either of blues, rock, prog, metal ... I use it with two very different guitars, a Start Highway 1 and a Aria Pro 2 (humbuckers). I have a Fulltone OCD overdrive that always brings the precision and on some saturation boost, and a Crybaby.
Line 6 seems to have definitely achieved its goal, namely the Alliance for the best digital and tubes. Nothing to do with the previous series amps, especially on clean sounds, the lights are really feeling and quality of HP also, more basic "rubbery, but sounds good slammin, crystalline and inviting all at once (position twang in particular). The distortions are of course great: the crunch to overdrive and I'm not talking about emulation Mesa (4 anyway) are simply gorgeous with a soft spot for the personal potential of position "blue metal" by the Mid control. In less than two seconds you can go from one sound to the Rory Gallagher with a Gilmour solo .... No pedal!
Amp emulations are of course excellent and very close to the original (30 Vox, we believe it!).
The power is phenomenal and it has the 40 watt when compared to a Fender Hot Rod of the same power.
The effects are adequate but of course nothing beats a good pedal for more advanced settings (although I'm putting my old Electric Mistress on the shelf, flange being very acceptable). The presence knob is very sensitive so very effective.
This amp is extremely friendly tone of the guitar, it's also one of its great quality.

OVERALL OPINION

I had gone to buy a Hotrod or Classic 30 or a small tube combo Marshall pointed out to me when my dealer excellence of this amp. A little confused about the technology I tried it for a while and glad to come away with 4 amps just the price of one! Then there are those of us who leave their guns when they see the name of Line 6 is a brand that irritates (nothing to see negative reviews on this site already, even before he so or by "musicians" who have tried it 5 minutes in the store!).
This is not the best amp in the world but it does not exist. So if the crystalline sounds of a Fender you are needed, buy the Fender! If you like the crunch of a Marshall, buy it! This amp does not fill you, for sure. But that's a bad amp, it's very exaggerated, it should simply not for everyone and certainly not a pro very sharp. But in all cases, especially on stage, he will show himself to the task.
For me, I would do the purchase without hesitation.
It would be a good idea Bogner interested in Vetta: here it could really hurt ... but for another prize!
