See other posts ago all I was looking for: a tube amp, effects, and provided sufficient power for rehearsals and scenes (40watt). For cons, the beast is heavy, but pretty normal for a c amp like this (strong casters included by Line6, very solid)
UTILIZATION
Initially, like any good amp, it has a little trouble, we tamper with all the buttons have fun. But after a few hours pass on, we arrive at contrl the beast! It's simple! The manual that is provided is more than enough, you very clearly explains what each button is used. You can get a multitude of sounds thanks to this amp! If already one of the very many presets do not suit you (but Gnrale, they are all quality and touch), you can always CRER your sound from scratch or just changing some parameter of a preset already existing. BMOL Small, small carts volume between presets, and the master volume pot is pretty bad tag is the penalty was a turning a weak sound, we then moves 2mm and a loud bang ... it may surprise)
SOUNDS
I play everything, but mostly hard rock, glam rock, metal and alternative rock (Guns, AC / DC, Scorpion, Motley Crue, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Muse, etc ...) I mostly use presets, but I sometimes modified (presets Sweet Child, Master of Puppets, Nothing Else Matters, etc. ...) If not in r I do not rule gnral Blues channel, or very little, I stay in the Clean / Twang and Metal / Insane mainly. Only BMOL, phaser, too numrique, prfrez good MXR Phase90 <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" />
OVERALL OPINION
I use it since September 2009. Before him I had just a Marshall MG15CDR, good little amp for beginners, but I very quickly saw the difference! I would do without hesitating that choice, I bought a 620 new (and yes the MKII have to get off!) I love a bit closer All of this amp, it is clear easy to use, sounds are really standards, and the effects go well apart phaser. The report qualitprix is excellent! However, I advise you to buy the FBV Shortboard (or better), a change you life!
