«  Good sound but the finish? »

Published on 06/10/10 at 07:33
Value For Money : Excellent
A distal tube ultra simple to use. Two channels: one for crunch and one for the big sound or lead.

UTILIZATION

The EQ is quite effective with three bands. But the big addition is made in the Blackstar knob TFR: the British far left and far right on the U.S., and it works really well. This FSI provides many possibilities to this pedal.

SOUND QUALITY

For the blues or the sound of stones channel 1 is perfect for the big sound on 2 comes out perfectly. That said it is a tube distortion so if you search for his cold of neo metal grindcore vegetarian is not necessarily the best in the genre. I use a PRS MIRA, a versatile little toy, and this distortion suits him perfectly.

OVERALL OPINION

I tested this before buying the usual DS1 and other big muff obviously this is not the same price and obviously it does not sound like it. The value for money is good. But my problem comes from the finish on my model there is a default on pots and on the model bought from a friend before and yet another store has a fault on the switch of channel 1. So yes the pedal is sturdy but still need to assemble it correctly: Made in Asia (not Japan) as usual.'s Pretty annoying to nearly 200 euros pedal.
