In January, Kush Audio unveiled its new Pusher sound sculpting plug-in. It is now available for both Mac and PC.
The Pusher plug-ins is available in VST and AU formats for Mac OS X and Windows in both 32 and 64-bit resolution.
Kush used here modeling to color and distort the audio signal, with the use of four “magnetic metal cores” (still no information about this concept) and various controls to change the sound texture and character.
Note that the Pusher GUI doesn’t provide any name for the control by default, Kush wants you to experiment, but if you feel lost, a “Cheat” mode will show you what you are doing.

- Multipoint series and parallel Blend modes
Pusher is available for $149 and requires an iLok USB dongle. You can download a demo version from www.thehouseofkush.com.
