UTILIZATION
Fender 65 Deluxe Tele, Strat, Les Paul, SG, ES ... I tested the Mesa Rectifier and there is a disaster, high gain amps go your way
SOUND QUALITY
the TS9 is one of the boost drive, the most used and appreciated just that ... I used to drive with a very light Strat or Tele history to have this clean mix a little dirty, coupled with a good tube amp ... found that natural side as if we had pushed a little amp, plans emerged as Rolling Stone great especially with a TV, Brown Sugar, Honky tonk woman .... in short it is a killer, it gets very beautiful shade according pickups and volume ... otherwise I also used as my pedals for boost-type preamp ... Wampler kind Plexidrive Tweed or 57, then we add the body mix is perfect, gaining attack and presence ... it is simply amazing, it leaves out many senior middle, the Tone knob is the centerpiece, the assay is very subtle depending on the desired result ... after boost in drive I also use the Gold Bender Benrod which is different again, more in the middle there ...
OVERALL OPINION
Having owned the Ibanez TS9 made in China, where there are no photos this Classic Screamer sounds ... circuit plays a lot and build quality also, I had the chance to have tested the Ibanez TS9 Hand wired by of around € 399 and after the test I was hot to take, but once the Screamer of Benrod between the feet, I found the same thing for cheaper (140 €), good economy ... Finally on the net there are sites that offer to do the upgrade with Chinese TS9 circuit JRC4558D ... I preferred to take the Classic Screamer for the same price and less hassle with the post ... no regrets and really not ready to part with one day
