The use of other cards motu, the 828, the ultralite, high-quality maps.
But the use of macpro, macbookpro, is almost impossible, fantastic drivers blocking compltement The systems under Mac OSX. The use of this card is problmatique, whereas with the same computers and ultralite 828 cards work perfectly. The VAS has no home motu rponse in providing platforms macintel.
In addition, under pc, the problem appeared trs quickly, one firewire working, sync problem, stability and bold.
UTILIZATION
Installation without problem on Windows XP SP2, but not with mac intel, the card is recognized but not working.
No solutions on Mac OSX, although many returns in customer service, for many people.
GETTING STARTED
Using windows with Samplitude, Sequoia, Ableton Live.
Mac OSX, both use the internal sound card of the computer, at least it works.
OVERALL OPINION
Purchased in a professional, I will change to a RME card that works perfectly with Mac and Windows, and yet I recommend the motu 828, ultralite trs that work well, but certainly not the 896 hd, that include problem inhrents design, become the bte black card MOTU
