Hi, I just bought myself a little roland micro cube and I'd like to give my humble opinion.
In fact, the clean sound is perfect, the output of my guitar is not strong enough to fully load the pre-amp distortion then the bug never becomes very hard even with maximum gain, to remedy I should use a distortion pedal or compression, I regretted that among the 6 amp modeling Vallent present only two really worth to be used (Stack and classic R-FIER) but these two are really very good especially the R-FIER, it gave me exactly the sound I needed for the metal I play. There is also an option to connect a microphone, so by repeating util (for voice), built-in effects are pretty good in their most especially the reverb is very correct, but the chorus is not very satisfactory and even less delay and tremolo that are virtually unusable, another major shortcoming of this amp is that it is not possible to adjust the balance FREQUENCY (no bass, mid, high, presence, ... just a single "Tone" ) the presence of a digital equalizer intgré reduces damage but do not cancel it completely.
To end on a good note I would add that the power / size / price is really impressive, all those who saw the underestimated at first but they apès respected as it should.
latest information:
-The amplification transistor.
-Power is 2W (but it looks like it actually 8 or 10W!).
-Connectivity is jack type (large format), + separate power transformer.
-Effects are present: chorus, flanger, reverb, delay, tremolo, phaser (digital of course).
A little tune-Digital is also included (to give the guitar).

Note that this is only my personal opinion, and as I'm not really an expert it is absolutely necessary to compare it with others before deciding to buy.
ciao.

UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple, it is very easy to get a good sound, the manual is not very detailed but enough to understand, whatever would have liked more technical information on the device .

SOUNDS

It's a bit hard to the metal with this amp (if you want a pro's should pedals or multi-effects), however, this amp is perfect for blues, grunge, and even a lot of kinds of rock, personally I prefer the configuration most is: amp modeling R-FIER, the gain that is appropriate for my guitar (fully in my case), three-quarters of tone, 50% of reverb, and no Another effect is the configuration that I use all the time wonderfully.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for a month or so, I love the most for its portability and the quality of its sound, but I must say that I have not tried too many models before buying this one especially in terms of high-end amp, then it will take me carefully, however I think the price / quality ratio is very good, so if I had to choose again I think I'm the same.
