So rather complete, although it is on the modeling is not analog. Too bad there have no speaker simulation for the headphone output (which is felt especially with large sound distortion). Too bad there is no possibility of a footswitch.

UTILIZATION

Very simple, everything is written above, just choose what we want.
Not need the manual.
This gives a good sound (relatively speaking) quite easily, but we must make adjustments.

SOUNDS

Ben's why you buy an amp eh!
I compared with a pathfinder 10 in stores, tested in good condition. I already tried the micro cube, neither convinced me. The vox mini 3 is for me the best small amps.

I will not spend every model under the microscope, what interests me is to have its own, which has body and shiny clear: it is easy to find. In crunch, it's pretty, it is also in saturation and distortion, inevitably, that a little fishing in the bass but it works well.

I had a fender twin reverb, 1976, I currently have a Laney LC50 all-tube, I have an idea of what good sound. The mini3'est not a tube amp 100 watts and was not necessarily the same sound is not as pretty. I'm not a fan of modeling, but I recognize that there is convincing, but do not expect to really have the sound of amps as a reference, it sure is rough.

Then, the different sounds of the guitars are met: single or double coil, we feel the difference, I plugged my Les Paul and my Ibanez, the guitar sound is used very well respected.

The volume is sufficient to be heard far if we play in the street, and the sound is stable when we play hard.

OVERALL OPINION

Used for a week, the vox mini3 is good for its portability (it's mainly why I bought it), the next he sounds pretty fate. You have to make adjustments, but we manage to bring out a good sound, very versatile. More practical than my tube amp when I'm too lazy to turn it on (warm, lots of noise for the neighbors).

It is an effective tool for extra holidays and guitar lessons or not to annoy people when we want to play at 3am. But my real amp, vox mini3 can not replace it, logical.
