What connections (audio, MIDI ...)?
See specifications sheet (in English).

In summary:
- 4 midi out / midi in 2
- Mono input / output and mono "stereo"
- 8 assignable outputs
- Exit "Metro OUT" (I thought it was cool)

He has an effects section?
No effect

How sounds, styles available? Are they edited? Through a utility Mac / PC?
The sounds are those that fit in like all the samplers for any style of music.

What caractériques sequencer?
Extremely simple and top sequencer (like all MPC)!

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is it simple?
To have worked for several years on the 2500 display on the screen is a little confusing during the first hour of use but you get used to very quickly. Obviously no manual in English except for Anglophones to v3.10 but you can use the manual of the 3000 v3.10 also.

The manual is clear and sufficient?
No manual in English except as mentioned above, but if the 3000 manual is very clear and detailed. Otherwise as in 2500 I think the operation is logical (no brainer), but unlike the 2500 I do not recommend tampering in all menus otherwise modify certain parameters that can make you freak out if you can not not recover as before (yes, I have experienced the MIDI ...)

The usual functions are they easily accessible?
Easily accessible, everything is at hand and unlike some MPC 1 key = 1 option. No delirium press "6" keys at the same time having to delete a letter (for example).

SOUNDS

It was at this moment that explodes for compos hip-hop that scours!

Sound strong tape (12bit powaaa), it is good fat and filthy is the total up to a very disgusting to the instrument's 90 ...
Example, you sample a kick and a snare of a vinyl (if it is a 33tr put the plate in position 45tr) or tape, the machine you already released a good thing that tape, then the apotheosis it is love that will demolish detune your kick and your snare: the beat takes a slap!

What I also love about the 60 is that you have only 26.2 sec sampling (with memory expansion if 13.1 sec) so no gachi memory, take exactly what we need (you learn to keep only what we feel to be good).

8 outputs on the back are much potato as "stereo" output is the top bosser for each sound as you want on the mixer playing on EQ.

Same for cutting: everything by ear and it is discovered that the pleasure of sampler (no waveform that spoils the pleasure of the performer).

Coupled with my S950 is just deadly!

OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?
I use it for 3 months, enough sleepless nights to jump the neighbors to say that 60 is a dinguerie.

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I had an MPC 500 that I kept for 5 months because too gadget and headache after 1h of use but really to discover the world and MPC 2500 I bought after 500 , super machine full of possibility of editing and easy to use but I still think I sell it because no use.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?
+ The simple to handle
+ The ease and speed for cutting sounds, remove the pads, play ...
+ The sequencer
+ Look
The 4 + midi out
+ The quality of matèriaux
+ The 8 assignable outputs
+ The 12-bit sound

- No headphone jack (it really is because we need to find him a default)

How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice?
I paid 900 €, doubled memory, v3.10, HxC Emulator, with a dozen external SCSI ZIP drive in very good condition. I think the price is fair when I compare it to SP1200, I would do this choice without hesitation. Not ready to leave the house with the S950!

I think to add a ASR10-R occasionally to see what comes of it. I hope to try it on a SP1200 also one day. To see ...
