Value For Money : Poor
I bought this saxophone Selmer Mark VII in 1976 (see No.) 2 years ago 850 euros in a magazine sale.
Good external condition (Case Selmer poor condition), has become a setting because it did not drop below the low D (coordination in small cork missing).
I had an alto but decent low-end and robust (Elkhardt super deluxe (!)).
The Mark VII has a very pleasant (rather mild), but a beak adapted can make more incisive. It responds very well now.
For me it's a quality / price ratio very very good (I'll never put in a Euro 3000 Mark VI, high-quality but expensive)
I saw a star to someone who asks for information (sites year / serial no exist ...) and I do not think it's normal, especially for sax is often misjudged.
For my use I would have put 9 / 10, but with the previous comment, to compensate I put 10/10
