«  Big sound to rock (too) expensive »

Published on 02/09/13 at 05:30
I use this snare recently and I want to say that this is my first purchase in this area.

I really wanted a snare to sound pretty hot but with a good crack too aggressive and quite versatile.

After many plays on Thotho I chose two models, the snare beech Series Sonor Ascent and this Sensitone Elite Bronze 14 * 5.
Ascent but did not have enough crack for what I play.

So to return to the Elite Sensitone this snare seduced me almost immediately from the look of it refers especially the sound it produces. Just the sound is very effective, it is both hot and quite crackant while being specific with a depth of 5 inches.

Harmonics are very musical, I like very much and are easily manageable. Depending on the setting you can get a dry well or a well dirty and greasy, but always in a registry rock / metal or funk-rock.

Anyway, I think this snare is very good, it oats pleasantly to the ear while piercing enough throughout the fatra bass guitar and vocals.

The price / quality ratio is very good, I would do this choice without hesitation. This confirmed my snare on the choice of bronze snare, which corresponds to the sound I'm looking and I need.
