Waves launched today GEQ, a dual 30-band graphic equalizer in native format for Mac and Windows, available at a special introductory price.
GEQ features two mono and stereo Classic and Modern versions, each one with 30 ISO bands as well as high and low-pass filters, a bell parametric EQ filter and a real time analyzer.
GEQ Classic uses proportional Q filters, a technique which reduces the filter width as the band gain increases.
GEQ Modern employs special Flat-Top filters, which allow for eliminating artifacts due to band interaction. You can define the gains of each band one by one or drawn a curve with the mouse or you finger if you use a touch screen.
Last, the analyzer will compare the differences between two sources in real time.
Le Waves GEQ native plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X is available at the introductory price of $99. Regular price is $200. You can download a demo version from www.waves.com.
