PSP has releases the E27, a multistage equalizer plug-in modeled after the analog device of the same name produced by Avedis Audio Electronics.
The E27 features three-band equalization with nine selectable frequencies in a standard 500x package. It offers +/-16dB of boost/cut at musically-selected frequency ranges, and offers gentle saturation. Low and high filters can work in bell or shelf mode with a single click. The E27 is suitable for both mixing and mastering. PSP’s E27 offers additional preamp stage for global level control, and reproduces the nonlinear behavior of analog devices.
Based on Avedis Audio Electronics' E27 analog equalizer device, PSP’s rendition has been officially approved by the original hardware manufacturer. I has a full MSRP of $149, but to celebrate its launching it is currently available at the introductory price of $99 until January 24th. It is Windows and Mac OSX (10.6+) compatible in VST, VST3, RTAS and AAX formats (plus AU on Mac OSX)
