«  A very good guitar »

This is the 2008 U.S. model, black body with white pickguard and maple neck, 22 frets, mounted in 9 / 42, 3 single pickups with 5 position switch, 1 volume control, 2 tone controls. The varnish on the neck is flawless, and body painting is perfect.

UTILIZATION

The neck is super nice, it does not stick, a real pleasure. On the form, it's a Stratocaster, what can we say more, we like it or not. Thanks to the asymmetric shape of the body, all boxes are accessible.

SOUNDS

This guitar adapts to different styles of music I play (Shadows, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Rolling Stones ...). I play on Marshall amps or Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4. The sound palette is very extensive, thanks to the switch and the settings available. The sound is softer than that of a Telecaster.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar since July 2008, and I am very happy. This is my first guitar, and this is the one I wanted, for in doing a Cure "Pink Floyd" I've decided to take classes to learn to play guitar.

What's more, it is a Fender Stratocaster, a myth that many dream of owning one day. It is a pleasure to play on this beautiful instrument with clean lines.

If had to do again, I certainly would take the same, perhaps in another color.
