- Core manufacturing MODEL 97
- Basswood body (basswood) 2pices, handle Rabl (maple) screwed rosewood fingerboard (rosewood)
- 22 mdium frets, 2 humbuckers and split Ibanez - later replaced by a PAF Pro in neck and FRED F-Spaced in easel with Di Marzio, is the config of JS 1000
- 1 volume gnral, a push-pull volume Tone Commander split pickups - replaced by another volume. Would stay again.
- Handle end plutt between a Start and an Ibanez RG.
- Mcaniques oil baths and block chords.
- Lo-TRS II Floyd, with rglages agreement ends. A point that must be cut "balls" (if you'll pardon the expression) of the strings to hold them in Floyd.
- Translucent red color of any beautbr />
In the excellent résumé is alternated (mcaniques, race, finishing gnrale, varnish) with the worst (micro average split) and the catastrophic carrment (Floyd does not take the Okay, quick frets uses trs)

UTILIZATION

- The handle is generally enjoyable. the varnish is hand satin slips without difficulty.
- Access in acute is better than a stratum with his heel, but really not inclined to rave about: the flat of the handle is too advanced and particular body + neck is thick even when consquente. N'esprez not hit the bend of the 22me with the thumb on top of the handle. Even when one is far from an Explorer ...
I personally chips hands and I blame the stick a little too thin edges that are not enjoyable when you place your thumb on top.
Another complaint, less important, the density of the handle a little weak at times giving the impression of having a toy in his hands.
Otherwise, the game legato, scales, tapping, etc. is very easy thanks the low overall thickness.

- Ergonomics gnrale trs is good, guitar trslgre as rounded edges and participate as much comfort that the Aesthetics. Whether you sit or stand, you can play for hours without feeling any ESG.

- The weak point is undoubtedly the Floyd. Indeed, it is important not to abuse it, under penalty of disagreement. MODEL Embtant for "Satriani" which we know the abuse.
Apparently, the problem differs from the other MODEL. In discussing it recently with a luthier, the problem comes from the knives (the slices in contact with two large screws) which would irrgulier contact with friction. He knows a way to remdier, I'd do a little back the above. Fingers crossed ...
Only advantage of Systm, with cutting balls of string (hi, hi), it is impossible to break any rope! Not a break in 10 years of use, I say bravo!

- This gives a good sound very easy, as the rglages ultra simple, double or one branch Splitt, we put all the knobs back, and sounds!

- With both potarts volume, we have even more possibilities of sound, much like a Les paul. I had one before and I wanted to find this feature-l.

SOUNDS

So how is sounds, precisely?

I play on a Tonelab SE + Atomic Reactor

This guitar is the little sister of the MODEL Satch. Well, good surprise, of course! Plugs into a Hi-Gain amp, there is IMMEDIATE Satriani sound, a sound and expressive singing Ragit all the nuances of your game a little legato phrase, or a bend in the acute you will find the signature sound of irrmdiablement Matre. Satisfaction so.

Another enjoyable surprise is a hyper-versatile guitar.
With sounds of double and single, you can play everything from blues, jazz, rock, mtal, anything is possible, yes ma'am! I make again, and this is the guitar that I always use with my group. To say we attack Staite, of Peter Frampton, the Beatles or AC / DC sounds convincing trs.

This is what can be achieved with the original pickups.
Not long ago, I did change the pickups for Di Marzio, and while retaining the typical sound is still gaining momentum, precision, clarity heat. FRED in the bridge gives even more mdiums and a sound more "tube" (hard to explain), which is even closer to Satch.
The big diffrence is in configuration splitter. L is the day and night, it was vintage sounds crazy, slap, warm and crystalline trs close to a stratum. It can attack from Hendrix, Santana, SRV (yes, really). A trs trs opration good in fact. I just regret not having done more tt!

For résumé, one can say that this is a super-strat, a versatile sound Satrianesque + a warranty invoice.
Guitar solo par excellence with high-mdiums on the bridge pickup, the nuances Fidler, the handle easily.
Slammin sounds, brilliant in the mind of a Start.

Voil is less convincing in the big fat rock style Zack Wylde, Metallica, etc. ... To have a good old Les Paul will do!

Sound prfres:
Satrianesques: 8 + bridge pickup volume US Hi-Gain + Wah + Delay
SRVesques: split - + neck pickup very dirty crunch
Hendrixiennes: split - neck pickup + tube OD
Gilmouriennes: split - neck pickup volume 8 / 10 + volume easel clean crunchy
Santanesques: split - micro acute volume 10 / + + reverb tube OD
AC / DCesques: bridge pickup + gain 50% UK 68

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 11 years now.
I like his lgret ergonomics, versatility. I love the least need to be handled with Floyd prcaution.
The quality-price ratio is average. If we add the Di Marzio (added 200 with installation), making a vritablement guitar pro, has become the intrressant trs.

I would do this choice because I wanted a guitar to play satch and who can make me grow and open up a wide variety of sounds. So no regrets.
