«  Disappointing »

Published on 01/05/12 at 01:27
It's been one year that I have.

Made in Indonesia
Bridge: Edge III (Ibanez Floyd Rose)
Neck: Wizard III, end plate and a bit wide, 24 frets
Configuration: HSH (INF3, INF3, Inf4)
Controls: 1 volume pot, 1 tone pot

UTILIZATION

The handle is it fun?
Rather nice, but can be a bit too flat and / or large for some
Good ergonomics, good weight,
Good access to acute

The vibrato is malfunctioning, do not return to original position and it is difficult if not adjustable

SOUNDS

The pickups are passable.
The humbucker (Inf4) in bridge is a little garish
The simple (INF3) in a central position is not clear

Does not correct the agreement due to its poor floating tremolo that can not be solved either optimally

OVERALL OPINION

For € 379, I did not refer this choice.

It is worth noting:
1 ° The vibrato of this guitar is bad because it really is not adjustable in that it accepts a maximum of three springs, which screws into the wood soft and friable, it wears out quickly and he never returns to its initial position
2 ° The wood of this guitar is solid, but against sounds fairly neutral (not too sharp or too low)
3 ° A change in micro provides sound really interesting. By careful against single micro cavity is too small to accommodate a standard size single micro
4 ° The Edge III tremolo replacement by an OFR is possible, but expensive.
