Fully guitar factory in France with matrial also exclusively franais.
This is not to make a crow, but simply to locate the quality of the product.
As the demand excalibur are manufactured every MODEL is a little "custom"
here:
24 fret neck / Systm 90/10 (the famous carbon rod)
rosewood fingerboard
Seymour Duncan TB5 (bridge) SH5 (neck) and SSL6
Fixed bridge (apparently the same with 2010 except that the vibrato is fixed)
ruby
mcaniques vigier
UTILIZATION
Channel super enjoyable
Between feeling "highway" and a grip "carnal" (well it's not a Les Paul either!)
Access in an acute ease dconcertante (Notice to shredders ...)
I think perfect ergonomics, weight ridiculously lightweight, well equilibrated trs:
Any good for rpeter and extension sets.
The sound comes out of the skyscraper itself is hyper prcise, crystalline and does not forgive any approximation (such as all the guitars you might say ...) but yes I think this has even more glaring.
SOUNDS
I think this guitar is so versatile as a can almost become a default.
So yes it is suitable to my style Zique (base rock, now dyed noise / hardcore).
But just as I change the slecteur microphones and I fly to other sphres: jazz, pop, atmosphriques, fusion, eastern, and so enigmatic.
on the other hand I would say not all styles because it lacks a certain power skiing (mahogany set neck and a Les Paul for example ...)
but otherwise there is absolutely no default: the sound spectrum is beautiful, the balance always Submitted, rich harmonics.

it says warning: there are ways to bourrines STRID - if the receiver follows, making death would not be a problem

OVERALL OPINION
has been 2 years now I have.
I waited before posting because I wondered what I would think in a year or two.
I fix the Definition: it is a magical guitar, which is kept throughout his life.

- Its reliability: it does dsaccorde never as reliable as a floyd and more convenient for open tuning.
- The sound: there are ways to do everything we can switch in an instant all possible environments. I have a limit off the urge to buy effects pedals is to say ...
- I tried many before buying MODELS: Les Paul, Start, Tele, ESP, PRS ... none supported the overall comparison: jouabilit in terms of sound, reliability and price ... the good is subjective, but at least I think Vigier has its place among the great of this plant. APRS know which is the best ... intrt no, it's different people.
with exprience, I would do this choice, even today, with Excalibur, if I had to buy another MODEL, I would take a Les Paul Standard ...
