«  Mine is dying and I with ... »

Published on 10/15/13 at 03:38
Tube amp 1965, 2 tens of Watts, 2 channels for guitarists / singers, reverb and tremolo, two inputs of different impedance per channel, volume, bass and treble on each channel, reverb control on the one control of the tremolo on the other, but unfortunately I discovered too late that through footswitch I've never had one can have two on the same channel. I recovered two fingers of the dumpster so I do not know what were the lamps and the original HP. HP is 12 inches but I put a 15 because there is plenty of room, there was also a model fitted well (G-15) and I put two 6L6 power tubes, preamp 2 12AX7 and 12AU7, ECC81 a grinder and another for the spring reverb.

UTILIZATION

The lack of control for the midrange forced to play on his guitar tone and its potential effects to find the right shape for it but it's all good ...

SOUNDS

tastes and colors ... I would say it is built for Surf Music through its Spring reverb and monstrous treble but there is super versatile. In singing amp (2nd channel), it is pretty average but I play it in stereo to keep a signal void and there is magic!

OVERALL OPINION

I've had nearly 20 years. This is not the best amp 60's I had but still much better than today's amps that I find no personalities (for most main stream brands at least). More market two separate amps has always been limited channels so it deserves some interest. Its advantages: spring reverb, tremolo (Indeed I hate to base), its sharp, its power / weight ratio, its wheels, its versatility (with good pedal can even make metal or hardcore) and its look (mine is green like Green Racing Vox but a little lighter) with a kind of padded leather (leatherette?). If I find one again and I sold it one of my kidneys, I live on resumes!
