I use it for 1 month and although it is not very clear in my opinion, I am very happy with this amp.

UTILIZATION

The manual is useless, we can find the right sound.
The finish is good for the price, he has a mouth, the look is vintage, as its name suggests (Series V = Bugera at Vintage).

SOUNDS

I play mostly rock and blues of the 70 - 80 (old AC / DC, Dire Straits ...), but sometimes I play other styles ...
The sound is vintage, with a nice clean, warm. The crunch is so beautiful, with a small natural compression. No big distos with this amp, but can grow smoothly, the sound is very good. By pushing it to its maximum, the sound is a little bit "dirty" without becoming ugly.
Tone really influence the sound and can easily adapt the sound to his style of music.
The HP 8 "does not lower food and produces a fairly balanced, a good place for a small cheap amp.

The reverb is the only effect I use, in general. I used to "soften" the sound. That of V5 is effective, really quiet at first, and do not spoil the sound no matter the setting.

The attenuator is convenient to play at home in the bedroom 0.1 W can sometimes be enough, especially if one wants to push the amp!

In short, the sound really suits me, I was not looking for a modern sound, or big distos.

I have not tried the headphones, or plug into a cab.

For now, I do not intend to change anything, but surely one day I would replace the lamps with the best and I would add maybe a cab 12 "Vintage 30.

OVERALL OPINION

I own the amp for a few days, I will complete hindsight.

In conclusion, this amp has really nice not to be versatile, it is what I was looking for a warm, which sounds good on old rock and blues, not too powerful to be able to play at home.

It is complete (reverb, fader, headphone and HP) is really cheap considering the quality.

I would do without hesitation that choice.

Mine is modified (changed lamps known brand and HP replaced by a CELESTION V8). little additional investment is easily justified given the qualities already present.
The look is vintage, I personally am a fan.
The finish is flawless.

UTILIZATION

We obtain easily the "lights", just put the three-quarter gain and volume to 9. There is very powerful (watch out for neighbors) but do not panic, then just play with volume and tone of his guitar to tame all that.

the reverb is really good.
The clear sound stands up very well but the crème de la crème of this amp is the crunch very fat bloody good. With humbuckers (I have a Gibson les paul) is simply amazing for a 5 watt.

I have owned a few different power amps before this one (modeling, transistor, lamp). So I know exactly what I want, what makes me love or not.
My criterion was: reasonable price, its quality lamps, great looks, reasonable power to play at home, easy removal).
While searching one day in a shop, the biggest chance I tried a Bugera 1990 (head 4X12 cab). I fell in love, it is terrible, but far too powerful for moi.C is therefore natural that I started looking for the small 5-watt mark.
Mine is equipped with an HP CELESTION which greatly improves its quality. Ok, a critic, HP 8, which makes her a bit cramped. Anyway, I thought before buying. It is quite normal and in no way a criticism.

Yes, it sounds very warm, well-typed lamp j'adooooooooore!
It gets pretty clear sound with compression and natural heat lamps. Overdrive sounds pretty good warm, ideal for blues / rock.
Attention, no distos pests above, even pushing back the gain, or changing the lamp is vintage.
I play it with my Ibanez and my Vigier
All sounds like me, for others, place the rack in faade Digitech 2120 artist.

Petit, Lger compact, I like it. Look nice pots with a proper resistance, they are not running with the index, no need to stoop and we see direct their position!
Essay of transos, I also had a jcm 2000 before too powerful. In comparison, sounds clear, it was no better. For OD sounds, like, but you can get them here and for small volume 10X cheaper ....
Q / P: 80EUR. Like new, better not see .....
I would do it without hesitating choice for the price of a pedal ....

I play on a LAG Rockline equipped the 1988 original (Seymour). I play the music of this period also (Police, Telephos, U2, ZZTop, AC / DC, Dire Straits, etc.) but also the Stones and also composed style Rock and Pop. It is perfect for my style. By fitting the pedals (clones Guv'nor amended, Orange Squeezer, Small Clone, and also a Line 6 Echo Park and a Cry Baby modified also) becomes a real massacre of astonishing versatility. If you want to increase the gain, you just put a clean boost between the guitar and amp and make it thoroughly. I did not really reference, but it seems that the HP 30W Bugera also makes a more than honorable job. Maybe one day I let myself be tempted by a Vintage 30 in a cab outside and I could have a real basis for comparison.

OVERALL OPINION

Well, I'm not a big experience of the lamps (I had a Carvin XV112, a Fender Champ and a JMP1), and I did that for one month . But I think we have a product of value for money unbeatable.

Me is mainly the price and weight (Ouch my back!) That decided me. I also "zieuter" Lunchbox the ZT and its 200 watts 4kgs! But I yielded to the call lights ... And I do not regret it.

Edict of 17/12/10: A bit light on power when playing group, after a drink a little "support" and a noise level proportional to the BAC ...
It also lacks high mids, which would offset somewhat the lack of power by improving the definition. But, hey ... It's still not made for it originally, and perhaps an HP external solve this pb.

I mainly play rock ('70 and '60 + times).
When I play in band, my Bugera V22 or my Peavey Classic 30 are fine.
on the other hand, when I play alone or in pairs, in small structures (bars, pubs, restaurants, etc..), They are excessive: too powerful, too heavy, too bulky. Instead, the Roland Cube Street I use (input voice, a guitar input) often shows insufficient power for the guitar part. I needed a small amp quality to support it.
I bought it used, almost without trying, already knowing the qualities of the V22, and being unable to form an opinion on anything unfortunate in 5 or 10 minutes.
So my house that I tested, with all my guitars: TV's, Strats, SG, Godin, AZ ... And it's simple: He has transcended all, enchanted. They began to play tricks they did not know!
Well, okay, but with the pedals, how would he react?
Without further ado, my Digitech RP500 j'intercalai between the amp and guitar.
And there it was simply divine.
I was afraid of interference, incompatibilities: Nothing. Everywhere, only better.
Clear sounds to big distos, all simulations, all effects are observed, and simultaneously enhanced, wrapped, bewitched by the heat lamps.
The reverb is excellent. Very gentle, very subtle.
I took the opportunity to try it also with analog pedals, although for reasons of convenience I do not use them often: Result impeccable as well.
Passed these tests at home, he still had to face the decisive tests of the repeats and the concert. I confess that at this stage I was pretty confident there was no reason. And my confidence was not disappointed. Power and quality were good at the rendezvous. End result: 10/10, with the congratulations of the jury know that some may have a sharp tongue ...


OVERALL OPINION

This amp is not just good "for the price." He is good at all.
It is a marvel. A great, great, great little amp.
In 10 years, in 15 years, we tear the occasion.
