«  Good amp for tight budget! »

30W all-tube amp, Class A. Warning very powerful.
4 x EL84 and 3 12AX7
"Channels: Clean and Crunch with volume control with + Volume Gain. Equalizer common Bass, Middle, Trebble, and reverb. Also a parallel effects loop with volume control for the determination of volume effects in the final sound of amp.
Personally, the parallel effects loop, I find it void and useless.
Behind HP and footswitch connection (Clean / crunch, reverb).

UTILIZATION

Rather simple configuration. It adjusts the EQ and playing.
It is a shame not to have a separate EQ for the two channels at once is often used only one channel.

SOUNDS

I play rock / blues a little funky / rhythm 'n'blue.
So I love the warm and also clean up the right to move to a super-bluesy overdrive.
To clean, this amp is very well ... I finally classify more as a good jazz amp, a point of view of the clean.
Also I play on strat gold I find much better with style Humbucker Les Paul. The amp responds much better with a Les Paul or ES335.

However, my biggest complaint is the presence with the 1x12. I never managed to break into the mix live or in repeat. So, to come out, one must climb the mediums. Moreover, I find the sound too slammed to my taste.

I changed the HP for a Celestion G12H30. It brought a lot of warmth to the sound. Saturations drooling over, as I like. But ultimately, I find the HP H / H original sound more suited to the amp.

This amp is for those who want clean sound of chattering, powerful. But not as good as a Fender hot rod for example.

OVERALL OPINION

This amp does not match my guitar playing.
I have great sound and home recording, but unfortunately, I find it too hard to settle for a good sound live and repeated.
This is probably the 1x12 configuration, which has no presence.
Connected 2x12 Celestion Vintage 30 is much better. And with double coils is much better too.
