Foreword:
I HRIT long ago an old piano a queue (Pleyel) but fully revamped and perfectly playable. I play it for 30 years so I know = + / - what a real piano.
I'm not a virtuoso on the contrary, but I dbrouille (a little jazz (the standarts easy) some classical (bach "inventio 2-way" and no more ...) and I play mainly composed of pop, world ...).

TEST IVORY:
* I use it since yesterday (13/04/06) = I am tired of
* Correction: We are the 25.04.06 and I find it excellent ...???? (Is it a psychoacoustic phnomne??)

Given notice dated 13.04.06
Most:
+ The number of types of sounds and rglages
+ The look (see the image is beautiful ... but that's all)
+ Usability (it includes the functions immediately without reading the manual ...)
+ Can decrease the performance so as not to overload the CPU

the -:
-I have a PC Pentium IV 3.0 with 1 GB of RAM (installed by a "agrquot, knowledgeable and well) and sometimes train ...
I can not find the grand steinberg the grand 2 and in particular when using the sustain pedals
VELOCITY it is not the point (in a key enfonant trs was gently sound = no way to play super sweet! It's crazy for a plugin that price). I have seen this problem in another studio also (so it's not my Systm li).
-On some sounds there is distortion lgre (piano rock ... it may be = done but m'tonnerait expr)
It is sometimes gloss EXAGRES playing strong

Overall it m'meut not by what I have against the Grand 2 ...
Synthogy I bought without trying it, and this following the advice I read left and right. The bank of 40 GB of sounds made me think that he could not be better than any other ... = ERROR

= I sell it for the fans (including some who apprcient ...)
NB: I do not sell more I keep it!

NOTICE given on 04/25/06
I do not understand ...
I mean jJ'ai purchased the Grand 2 Steinberg also (a luxury, I know, I know ... = it's not my habit but ...)

Rsultat / comparison between the two:
I bought the Ivory without the cost and play. Later, when I install the compartment and the Ivory Grand 2 one after the other in the same store ... and surprise, Great 2 poustoufl me much more than the Ivory ... but too late, I bought the Ivory dj silent and put my name (installed by the seller)!
APRs have played for hours at home, rest on my j'tais dception.
So the next day I finally bought the Grand 2 (for which I had a trs INTERESTED price from the seller that silent a little annoyed not to me good advice dpart to ...)
I go home and try to direct the Grand gnial 2 = I m'clate ...
After 1 or 2 hours I shall decide to spend the Ivory to compare. So, it seems to me more so bad = the contrary, it seems that the more raliste G2. I pass the G2 and is still stunning trs BUT, over time, it finally seems that Ivory trsraliste trs. He bluffs less, but I think it makes much more intimate play. I also find that he married a much better mix than the G2.
DEFINITIONS In the two I like and I am a apprcier another. They both seem complmentaires (BPS I, I know it's the luxury ...).
When I say "bluff" for the G2, I mean I just feel like there is a small lightweight sound of "water" hovering derrire the sound of the piano. We hear the sounds perfectly hammers, mcanique of the pedals, the Fund rsonnance with sustain pedals ... but in the end it seems to me more "synthetic" = it is beautiful but less practitioner. NB: synthetic but trs hot (hotter than the Ivory)
And finally, I think the Ivory is also beautiful but more and more gross = raliste it less charming but small small dpart discovering he was also one I do not know what that can envotant play for hours in a row it boring less quickly than the G2. I still jou over almost all day long yesterday and it seems perfect (as much as a virtual instrument can be of course).

= Trs is complex and as I was told the salesman that I expressed my exprience is that the returns to the field of psycho-acoustic ...

Go figure?
