No problem for installation. Registration is done online.
It is ncessaire download any latest version (1.1.7 today), especially for users of Logic 6 on Mac.
The printed manuals are limits to the operation of plugins and English.
For cons, the CD-ROM contains the docs (in English too) and the original synths c'estessentiel to fully capture its spirit (especially for the MS20 with its patchbay).
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Config: Powerbook G4, 1.5 Mhz, 1 GB RAM, external HD 7200 rev / min, Logic Pro 6, Line 6 Toneport UX2 interface, pregnant Tapco S8.
The CPU dpend presets but dfans is a good average.
OVERALL OPINION
I did that for a week.
I hardly software instruments so that no point of comparison with "real" but the sound is perfect for me.
I wanted a formulation MS20 but I immediately find the original architecture of the Polysix. The use of the MS20-FX plugins effects directo returns you in the DLIR Goldfrapp soon as you put in a vote. I love it.
(Even if at the filters, when one of the Quad Frohmage Ohmforce, we need nothing else).
The Wavestation is not my cup of tea. Too typ anne 80 crap. Surely Perfect to take to Eric Serra.
The Legacy Cell can go further by combining the MS20 and Polysix either layer or a keyboard (if you have two MIDI interface). Finally dernire option obviously only works in standalone. The presets are quite many loquents the possibilities of combinations.
This collection has been much ink (like any software synths analog formulation legendary) but is seen as taking the new (159 euros for me) is the best package possible. The CONTRL keyboard is nice, a little "toy" aspect of it has to be trs MRIT teaching for those who engage in synthse.
Its plasticky knobs are still quite playable and even sensation will be worth probably not true but when the same apprciable trs.
My soft synths in prfrs are: GForce Minimonsta OhmForce Symptohm and (my prfrs) Gforce Oddity and the Logic ES2. But I think I'll use a lot dsormais Legacy Cell.
Advice to owners Toneport Line 6: Move the sounds of a multaions pramps accumulation of micro amp or guitar / bass can bring a warmth and a very fat grain supplmentaire.
Report qualitprix unbeatable at the new price (close to 4 times cheaper than THE FIRST edition ... I thought they had something but not removed)
Ultra advisable for beginners in synthse who want to do anything but sweep the banks of presets. (And then exploded the patchbay is for my 9 year old kid whose ultimate ambition is to gnrer sounds weird space).
