Waves has announced that its semiconductor technology is being employed in SM Pro Audios's MX1T/MX1R in-ear stereo wireless monitoring system.
The system utilizes features of the Waves MX5010 semiconductor. The MX1T and MX1R have the ability to manipulate all parameters both from the device's front panel or using a connected PC, as well as being able to save settings to USB flash drives.
The Waves MX5010 semiconductor integrates a 24-bit DSP core with pre-programmed MaxxAudio algorithms. Providing 24-bit processing at up to 48kHz, the MX5010 DSP also features various sound enhancements, according to the company: MaxxTreble, MaxxEQ and MaxxBass for users to sculpt output frequency response, and MaxxVolume designed to add presence.
