Dj many opinions on this synth so let's brief:
Programs / Combinations / squenceur 16 tracks / double arpgiateur / RPPR /
sampler (EXB-SMPL board option) ...
UTILIZATION
APRs have possd (then sold) the M1, X3, I3, N1R now is the Trinton LE:
It gives me synthse and evolution of Korg workstations.
Do not ask hsiter a little note on his knees for many beginners to use the multiple functions of the synth and then once you have acquired the "logic Korg," he slips alone!
I easily found in "sequencer" my favorite pages "quantize" and "events" such as ...
I apprci the following new features in "programs": mode "hearing" which is playing a small squence of his choice to give themselves an ide mode and "catgory" which classifies the sounds THEME.
Also, the very latest version of the OS (1.5), enables new functions such as switching to direct a program or a combination of the squenceur with the following effects etc. ....
Speaking of effects: two effects inserts are not enough squenceur mode.
But what they f. ..... in Korg?
SOUNDS
Ben ... it's a Korg!
Many "hallucinognes ground." Ideal background music for a thriller or sci-fi movie!
Trs imprsionnant!
The rest is pretty plutt. Also nickel in organs, voice ...
I AIM sounds of piano and bass a little hefty, but they are even good when ...
We will try to make them self-same!
We must admit that some sounds are a bit of both BPS!
(Yeah had to take all samples at 48 Khz in 32 MB!)
OVERALL OPINION
For starters, it is gray mtal is cool, a change from black plastic.
Frankly, for the price, it's a great choice.
I really enjoyable trs t surprised. J'hsitais say that the Karma ....
CAUTION:
When you buy your Korg Triton, take right away with a SmartMedia card
as a termination of the synth squenceur memory retains nothing!
Then there are optional EXB-SMPL the map for the function sampler
Max 64 MB (2 x 32 MB), delivered in 16 MB). Terrible!
(But a bit old as Systm: SCSI, slower memory etc ...)
Namely:
KORG has since released the KORG Triton TR: the same and better!
And the Korg X-50: the same without squenceur ...
