3-band parametric EQ. The three bands have a variable frequency.
3-band cover a range of 25 to 16kHz so you are not limited to the bass.
cut / boost + / - 18db (so 3 more than the GE7B) in addition to the bands overlap.
UTILIZATION
By insertion into the effects loop of an amplifier that can correct a certain weakness can of it.
By using pedal to switch from one sound to another on time (slap, dub etc).
With the guitar, insertion into the effects loop, it provides a big beefy sound with any amp (a good move by cutting in the media).
in short: it's great practice, it helps out much the same way that GE7B but the parametric side is more convenient I think.
SOUND QUALITY
As boss, no crippling but there are better.
OVERALL OPINION
Super convenient to troubleshoot on bass or guitar when you play not the amp.
Or to change the sound to the guitar (after or before an overdrive).
I always bring in my bag just in case.
I found it secondhand 250F (yes, my good lady franc) pfou ago ... eight years. I have not used very often but each time he helped out me well this EQ. So it's a good investment along with a chart that said, but with greater flexibility.
