The Korg AX3-B
- A pedal: it has two pedals,
- Multi-effects: it has a library of sixty cumulative effects up to 6 simultaneously
- Bass: these effects are more or less adapted to the instrument at low frequencies.

* The effects are very diverse but divided into 5 categories managed by the selector (left button):
- There is first the "Pre-FX" (including all effects that affect more or less the nature of the instrument, the game or the pre-amplification), there is such a compressor, a fretless effect, an effect bow, synth effects ...
- Then comes the section Drive / Simulation, here we must choose between putting a distortion (ranging from tube overdrive to the fuzz slight runny) or to an amp simulation (jazz, classical, metal, etc. .. . which can then choose the speaker setup)
- Then we have some level (general level of effect) and noise reducer (or noise gate when pushed to maximum)
- Then the modulations, which include several chori, flanger, pitch and other rotary and
- Finally, it concludes with the delay or reverb to give the key to the room chosen bouquet effect.

Note: Korg AX3-B also acts as a tuner when no effect is activated, and it drops very low! (We can provide sub-bass with [until C0]) that some tuners are low-end ...

* It was announced that the technology is similar to that used by Korg Toneworks on its entire line (which also includes keyboard synthesizers seems to me there). But here it is "adapted" to the bass ...

* The bank contains 80 clusters of effects, of which 40 are preset typed (see the manual for their name describes them somewhat) supposed to be "ready-to-use", the others are 40 plant and cons are completely customizable, you can delete them and set something else completely over. You can also RESET the bank to find the factory preset. No connection is possible against a computer or another. No updates to the appointment so.

* Indeed, the connection is limited to a 2 input jack (input for the jack from the instrument) and the output jack to the amp or from another pedal), there is the entrance to an outlet adapter [if you have the adapter Korg 9 V - 0.6 A (12 €), but a universal adapter is also the case] if you must use 4 AA batteries and it's not very practical ... Finally, there is an entry for the Korg pedal sold separately again, but this motion in the AX5-B (can be used as volume pedal or wah, but I do not feel the need personally).

* It is not very interesting to put the pedal effects loop I think: from a jack to use more (which may be harmful to the sound itself, since loss of information) IT There is no change. It can be connected in series with other pedals, but it may do much and distort the original sound of the instrument by passing by too many effects. However, it can still act as tuner, but it does not have "true bypass"
