Thread Really simple audio question with ableton live

I was wondering if anyone could tell my why my guitar isn't playing in ableton... It's plugged in properly and it's volume knob is up. I checked for those common sense mistakes. Maybe I made one that I was unaware of though.

Anyway, when I go to my preferences it looks something like this:

Driver Type: Core Audio

Audio Input Device : Built- in Input (2 in, 0 out)

Audio Output Device : Built-in Output (0 in, 2 out)

Can someone please tell my why I am not getting any sound from my guitar????

I figured it out. my bass needed a new batt.
