Basic learner (Cort - Stat3T 106)

By iamqman, 15/08/2011
Cort is a guitar manufacturer that is based on South Korea. They build pretty inexpensive and budgeted friendly instruments. They are not high-end whatsoever. Even though they do have a few guitars in their inventory that have some great-looking tops that feature flamed maple and quilted maple tops. This guitar is not any of those it is a basic introduction into guitar playing type of guitar. This is the kind guitar that your parents will buy to allow you to learn how to play the electric guitar. This is a very inexpensive and basic built guitar and the sound is pretty cheap as well.

This guitar features one humbucker into two single coil pickups. The body is painted blue and you have a white pick guard. You also get a five way pick up selection selector which allows you to select from pick up pick up and also in between positions. The neck is a hard maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The type of bridge and control knobs are vintage style and overall it's a pretty decent guitar for what you pay for.

The Stat3T features include:

* Scale : 25 1/2"
Joint : Bolt-on
Body : Agathis
Neck : Hard maple
Fretboard : Rosewood
neck- Powersound single-coil
middle- Powersound single-coil
bridge- Powersound humbucker
Headmachine : Diecasting (chrome)
Bridge : vintage style
Knob : vintage type (white)
Fret : vintage style (2.0mm * 1t)
No.Fret : 22
Fretboard radius : 9 1/2"
Electronics : 1vol-2ton

This guitar is nice tone and certainly not a professional tone. It is a tone that is going to be very basic, the wood itself doesn't sound that good as I have never even heard of agathis wood that they use for the body. It must be a wood that is featured over there in Asia or something but I've actually never heard of it so I'm not that familiar with the origin. Overall the guitar sounds like exactly what it is, it is a beginners guitar and it's for someone trying to learn or are figuring out whether or not reading that play the electric guitar.

This guitar will do whatever it does for any amp that you have. Is it basic superstrat tone with the humbucker in the bridge position. You have a tremolo for the bridge which is a nice addition to the guitar. Overall this guitars probably much better than a Squier guitar which is about the same price as this one. This one has a little bit better balance and better feel to it than I would put into a Squire guitar. So whatever amp you have, this is not a guitar that you can really care too much about the tone of it because it's around $200 guitar. So if you have a Fender amp or a Marshall amp or a no name amp, then this guitar to be perfect for you.

These guitars are somewhat harder to nowadays but they usually cost right around $200. They are a pretty good price for someone wanting pick up their first guitar to learn on and get their basic electric guitar playing skills down. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a great beginner's guitar and doesn't want spend a whole lot of money and wants to get something probably a little bit better than a Squire guitar. Other than that that's the only person that I would recommend this guitar too.

Made in Indonesia, three simple micro finally everything is like how a real Strat! A guitar very well done.

Handle very nice, the access is very easy to acute, mild form pleasant feel a bit heavy? but nothing rédibitoir. Easily obtained a good sound strat ^ ^

I play punk, rock, hard rock it suits almost every sound in the stratum with saturations very correct but without going so good in the big metal.
Its clear no one cares well round slamming in saturation bhein its going not so bad in fact it fo well push a little gain but its still very clean and variable playing the selector. I like all his sonoritées.

I use it for two months, this is my first scratch strat type, I just tried to stratabound models before but if it suits me. I think it has a value for money exelente I paid 100 euro and I'm really more for my money. I think I'm chilled to choose if I have to lose it.

The version I have always "made in Korea" possde black varnish finish and translucent plate micro style "metallic gray marble" the most beautiful effect as the version "strategic fender deluxe" Payroll 1600 francs
vibrato on a knife wilkinson style that can be pushed or shot like a floyd: very practical

The neck is quite thin and the coating has done well t trs, trs enjoyable
The key is nice. only minor complaint that I could handle it at the frttes that are too thin (22), it would have to have t prfrable medium jumbo, but good for the price ...
t have a thin heel nice because it is the same as a fender, Access in acute is difficult.

My guitar has t "customize" with 2 EMG 81 splitables double and a single 85, I also mcaniques Sperzel addition: it is hardly even dsaccorde bends with r ptition. (The oil bath mcaniques taient trs good home.)
2200 francs plus cot
She goes silent micro home with two singles and a double splitable, these microphones lacked DEFINITIONS. the silent dfonce dj prvue to accommodate two doubles.

Résumé for a bit this guitar is very well done, more than a squier lments of quality in the same price range. the pickups lacked DEFINITIONS. but everything else is of good quality
trs good guitar for beginners
my version, I do not intend to change or sell
she is playing in all styles (metal, funk, blues ...)

Made of Indonsie
22 frets, 2 single pickups and a humbucker in the bridge position.
Full Action II tremolo
One volume knob and two tone knobs, plus a 5 position selector micro
Channel stocky, rosewood fingerboard.

8 because in the Torah and only thor, this guitar is not top-level CHARACTERISTICS.

The handle is just great! He is thin, soft, not the frets hang gliding when you => this is a pure joy stick.
Access in acute is not bad (at the same time I'm not often in the treble)
Ergonomics is trs good: the guitar is not too heavy, the weight well equilibrated form is superb, and the strap hooks (called a chai po how) are not rotten like some other guitars.

This guitar is super-versatile: it goes from blues to rock to metal to hard to see even if you push all the way into the amp. The humbucker provides good EHJV, great punk and hardcore, and the pickups give a simple clear sound good (for that price).
I played on a Vox Valvetronix 15w.
We get all the sounds you want, but you need a good amp, because if the receiver does not follow, may be a will be in rough distortion.

I use this guitar for 3 months and I'm totally addicted. I love the neck of this guitar (in the sleeves of gnral in Cort are gniaux), but also its look, simple yet original at the same time (I possde dark red and I find sublime)
Before this acqurir MODEL, I tried another Cort (M200) and a Squier Telecaster, but it's the only one that convinced me, given the quality price ratio (which co you average 170 euros) and ease of play
Exprience with the same choice I do it again, and I urge all beginners who want a good guitar, versatile, not CHRE, with good finishes.
