UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple, not hard to understand how. The manual can be useful if one wants to exploit the KAOSS PAD, but not necessarily during the first few uses.

The creation of samples is quite simple but limited in quantity and precision.

Personally, I use it in addition to an EFX 1000. A Kaoss Pad 3 is not worth an EFX 1000 and vice versa. We can not say one is better than the other, to everyone's taste.

The Kaoss Pad 3 has the advantage of being quite fun to use, to a significant number of effects and to be quite visual.

The EFX 1000 is preferred for its precision, but is still quite limited in terms of creation (number of small effects).

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is excellent on the KP3 (same with EFX). Korg quality requires.

All effects are not necessarily useful to you to find the ones you like. The KP3 has the advantage of being very responsive and allows a rapid change effects without taking the lead.

If the effect is not right on a piece by sliding finger fault is repaired.

OVERALL OPINION

For over three years, I can not remember exactly when I bought it.

Unpacking the KP3 seemed a bit fragile and mastok, result, it is still there, walking nickel, no software or hardware problem. The build quality is impeccable.

The sound is impecable over time, no degradation.

The effects are more or less useful as those selected.

The highlight of the KP3 is its ergonomics, its large number of effects and quality / unbeatable price.

Guaranteed sound and visual effect.

If I had to invest today in an effects processor, I would do without hesitation that choice.

ERROR NOT TO COMMIT: Buy Mini Kaoss Pad Kaossilator and KP3 replace thinking.
