The Peavey IPR2 power amps are hitting Europe

Peavey announces the availability in Europe of the new IPR2 two-channel PA power amplifiers.

Evolution of the IPR Series launched in 2009, the IPR2 range features two-channel power amps with a Class-D topology. Compared to the first models, the IPR2 received a new design that reduces the weight of the units (7 lbs), increases the power and the reliability. The amps retain from the first generation the Switch-Mode power supply technology.

Peavey announces the availability in Europe of the IPR2 2000 and IPR2 3000 models, but the series also includes 5000 and 7500 models as well as editions with DSP, the latter with the built-in Waves MaxxBass technology.

The amps have in common two independent crossovers, XLR/Jack 1.4” combo inputs, Neutrik SpeakOn outputs as well as the proprietary DDT (Distortion Detection Technique) protection system.

The IPR2 2000 provides 1100W max per channel at 2 Ohms, 600W at 4 Ohms and 370W at 8 Ohms.

The IPR2 3000 offers 1750W max per channel at 2 Ohms, 950W at 4 Ohms and 525W at 8 Ohms

US pricing is $599.99 for the IPR2 2000 and $649.99 for the IPR2 3000. Discover the IPR2 Series at
