SOUND QUALITY

The effects themselves are fine, pretty delays, there is everything you need.

OVERALL OPINION

I used it sporadically for 1 year.
The new price is not really high and secondhand is very affordable.
Warning knobs extremely fragile, especially not easily replaceable weak point desired device.

To tell the truth, convertos are really crap; connected in front of a good amp, it's really a disaster, saturated, but its clear, the dynamic is completely ruined. We really feel that the Mesa is an emulation of outgoing line 6 Pod on PC speakers.
It's a shame, the effects are not bad at all but the only solution is to connect the g major in a parallel effects loop, so if possible, allowing some of the dry signal (a large part if you do not want to be disappointed ..), the wet being so well yucky. Without that, as said before the sound is completely gun. It is true that the temporal effects should - "normally" - to be placed after the preamp but what about a good example eq.

Brief in conclusion, I do not understand what kind of product: good effects, ruined by lousy conversions. Aston Martin with an engine Twingo. I think the quality / price comparison with a stock pedal-Analog is necessary before buying such a beast.
But this is only my humble opinion that is only my opinion.

UTILIZATION

Manual clear enough.
Interface with 2 wheels double (coaxial) notched quite handy but the outer rings fall in the harbor after a while (on mine anyway) and then it becomes a mess to configure.

SOUND QUALITY

I used a whole mesaboogie TriAxis and 50/50 plus a Marshall cabinet 1922. I had plugged into the effects loop of the Triaxis (mono send, stereo return) and was controlled by midi THRU (presets synchronized between the preamp and the multi purpose).

Quality effects not too bad but the A / D and D / A are quite rotten (I suspect also the audio output stage). So its clear we lose a lot of momentum.

Practice for the stage but forget the studio (it really degrades too the sound of the amp).

OVERALL OPINION

I have used it for 8 years before selling my entire mesa. It has served me well but I confess that I would buy not the same.

Since I bought a mesa Mark IV combo and I connect a POD (line6) on the effects loop. Less variety of sounds but better (best converters too).

Rack, good stuff, for me it's a bit complicated, need to look at the record .. At the same time I am fan of plug and play and this time I screwed The knobs are a bit fragile, it must be very careful. 99 factory presets, some of which are irrelevant. SOUND QUALITY

Given the multitude of effects of the rack, the sounds are good bills and you have to be very difficult to note down the multi-effects.
I use it with an ESP Eclipse granted Drop SI to play metal. My sounds are the most used reverb, delay, chorus / flanger.

I attach also a Fender Telecaster in standart tuning its clear that I am entirely satisfied with the same type of effects.

For the price, it seems that the value for money is more than adequate.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost two years. I have no gallery at beginners but now I'm really happy. It's solid and reliable gear. Only BMOL: the expression pedals that are not quite prcises. I Do not hesitate to repeat a choice cece

The TC GMajor is a digital rack unit. It can't be edited through a computer. This effects unit is a combination of reverb, delay, harmonizer/octavizer, vibrato, chorus, phaser, flanger, and almost any other effect except for distortion. There is no MIDI connection.


UTILIZATION

Getting through these sounds can be a huge pain sometimes, simply because there are about a thousand presets to choose from. Each preset ranges from a basic effect (reverb, phaser, vibrato) to a complex combination of effects and algorithms. The manual does a decent job of explaining how to program and shift through all of these various effects. However, it is a chore for anyone who isn't dedicated to finding buried treasures.


SOUND QUALITY

I have only used this with guitar. Using it with a bass or keyboard would produce some truly freaky sounds, as running the guitar through this thing is enough to bewilder just about anyone. Some of the effects that this thing produces are jaw-dropping. Some settings produce wild harmonization’s and polyphonies that repeat in an ambient fashion from just a few randomly plucked notes. Some settings will harmonize, even pitch correct, every note that you play and continually loop sounds and replace them in a manner similar to a Steve Reich piece. Some sounds produce gorgeous, orchestral multi octave washes of sound that are very soothing. Playing two notes on some of these settings will produce an ominous drone that sits in the bottom of your stomach. For all of these wildly innovative effects, there are a ton that are wild and foreign but have no real practical application, which makes it frustrating to find the good ones.


OVERALL OPINION

I love the wide variety of textures that can be easily created using this machine. I hate having to sift through a million lackluster or annoying settings to find the good ones. I think that this is a ridiculously expensive piece of gear, and that anyone willing to shell out the money for it had better realize how frustrating and time-consuming it may be. However, some of these sounds are very difficult to recreate elsewhere, and some of the ambient textures would be very useful for someone who makes ambient or very spacey music. I'm sure there's a niche of customers who would adore this product, I'm just not sure I'm one of them.

On the effects, I suggest you look at the site because there is a certain amount of effects!

I use it for over 5 years I bought used Audiofanzine thanks to this site, it is right for personal use I ask I'm very happy and if I had the choice again I would do it again eyes closed.
I advise against by the pedal G-minor because no matter how small it is not very functional ...

- The g-major offers common effects (reverb, time limit, chorus, flange), cool effects (whammy, octave filter), and two dynamic (comp and gate).
- No qualo.
- It is equipped with analog inputs and as symtriques digital sp-dif.
- Two MIDI jacks allow connection of a pdalier MIDI and make it possible upgrades of the OS.
- Be careful, you can not erase the presets or make MIDI mapping!

UTILIZATION

- Operation is easy enough, the publisher and modofication presets and fairly intuitive for every effect, there are a lot of paramtres accessible.
- The original manual silent in English in my case, but it is the site of tlchargeable tc (they were not fouls on that!).
- Great flexibility if they have a good pdalier noon (fc-200 for example).

- The effects are good quality, even if the color tc lgrement the original sound.

Use? complete and easy as far as we know well the effects. Lots of little more like the tuner, tap tempo and CHAC direct effect blocks ... make the engein more accessible

SOUND QUALITY

Excellent quality as long as I can jug. I'm not used to place a reverb before a Tagus power but we must admit that it is blowing, trsralistes. A noise gate superfluous because one can not filter the noise, but in time we shall adopt a strangled to play. The compressor is a lightweight can but adapted a guitar to give him a bump attack. It tends to produce some effects of noise in the 2000Hz +-fairly noticeable.

OVERALL OPINION

Buy all the effects of this quality in Casing spar s'avrerait much more expensive over the g_major allows CONTRL of most effects pedals with an expression!

For me an excellent qualitprix.

Nothing more than the other view, except the EQ paramtrique prsence a noise gate in the section OS since version 1.25. No effects loop, too bad.

UTILIZATION

Not what you made more intuitive, like stuff. It can be DIFFERENT types of chorus, but then follow a dozen paramtres for that chorus. I still have the doc in the corner when I hack, no way I remmorer the usefulness of some of these parameters, or fawn string effects.

Something good, tap tempo (Submitted on all multi modern, by the way).
My GMajor is and will remain in 1.26, but yeah, the word "wacky" Describes both the tuner Intgr (slow, imprcis and the street during non-standard tuning) that the "pitch shifter "(latency unbearable).

Mouaif is a multi trs good for that price, but rflexion, I buy only what pluttd m'intresse in parliaments spars I only use the wah (none of the G Major, and replaces it with a Morley), the octave / whammy (zero on the G Major, and replaced by a Digitech), the tuner (and no one replaced by Korg), chorus, sometimes the delay, and noise gate (no, I will replace it with a Rocktron).
A knowingly buy!
But many excellent effects / price!

I love this brand because to a decent budget effects are quite crystalline.
I was playing before a Boss GT6 and I hear a real difference with the obvious G Major.
I play guitar well made and the rest of my stuff is good but before that I had already tried that of a friend of my old stuff and it hurt a difference.
I do planks for quite longtps to really be able to criticize a effet.Je spent considerable time to resolve them and so far I board not the desired result but I know the bike can do it.

I did that for QLQ ais weeks.
I like the fact that it is crystalline (enough for my taste anyway), both rack and not very expensive.
I wanted to buy one since longtps and I'm not disappointed.
The value for money is good I trouve.Bonne quality for a price "affordable".
I will leave this stuff to live if I had to rethink.

The characteristics of the G-Majors are tempting: a max-quality effects, a max of presets, a pseudo-professional, rack ...
The principles of modulation and MIDI are very good.
The screen was OK and many settings.

UTILIZATION

The usage is really bad!!

This product tends to deteriorate physically very quickly (see the forum).
After a year of use alone, I had to return to the technical service to change a wheel. A year later, the wheel starts to not work properly which is annoying.
In addition, the buttons are quite fragile and I fear there is some deteriorating.
It should be stressed however that the manual is fairly complete.
Finally, there are many settings which can be quite specific about the sound (at the expense of simplicity).

SOUND QUALITY

I use the G-Major with an electric guitar, a JMP1, and an EL34 100/100 FCB1010 pedals.
The sound is pretty average overall.
For me, some effects are superb (reverb, delay ...) but other highly (see over) means (filters. ..).
It lacks, however, the effect Wha-wha (which may however end up with some settings but it's not very nice).
Otherwise, I find it quite transparent: it does not add too much his own grain.

Finally, the settings of the volume levels are quite difficult to master which is quite unpleasant!

OVERALL OPINION

I use this product for 3 years.
What seems most important to remember the G-Major, it is too fragile for such a low price, you have to make concessions on materials.
Even the software implementation was sloppy (given the number of updates done)!

I think I'm about to sell this product to invest in a new multi-purpose as the G-Major seems to be a low-end product (which does not suit me) pretty bad.

I bought it five days ago and I find it very transparent and above trs, trs qualitprix good value in this product range and price it must certainly be one of the best.
