SlapKid « Friendly and good performance »
Published on 05/25/13 at 14:10I bought it because I pétais a lead with ms50g ergonomics issue and I needed to plug in a headset.
3rd generation chip, the ms50g is 4 and it shows very clearly.
The headphone output is hot and powerful enough, the very readable and accurate tuner I supplied with 4 AA NiMH 2100mA and the machine is very energy I have not often charge.
Inter dedicated on-off is great.
The screen is readable and does not explode the retina at night, not like the blue ms50g.
The button right in the middle is used to engage the speaker simulation (global for all presets), must know, then red when we simulated.
UTILIZATION
Very cool to be paid by the fact that there is no sub-layer parameters and 3 are arranged in effect sufficient.
The number of buttons is a plus for handling the machine.
The footswitches are silent but effective, the left one is to engage / disengage a preselected effect with the stepper at the top left and without noise.
The 5-second looper is irrelevant, frankly.
It may appoint its presets, essential both G2Nu is versatile.
As against the master level always reaches 80, so every session begins with the fall is a little annoying (like on my muza gp120).
SOUND QUALITY
Using the headset mainly at night with an electric or electro nylon my chet atkins.
The compressor is sly and very musical, it is rare in multiFX.
The equalizer is effective and not taking cabbage, again rather rare in the niche.
Delay tennis more reverb possible, enjoyable.
Overdrives down or very well set on a particular guitar.
Saturax juicy and beefy, warm but defined, is successful.
I take for nylon compressor and reverb hd is perfect in the headphone so that the guitar is almost silent, striking effect.
Of course compared to zfx4 (ms50g) is rounder and more clutter is significantly less headroom, progress is real and inspiring.
OVERALL OPINION
Very good headphone amp, versatile and intuitive. Normally I like the akg 240studio for its warm and soft reproduction, the G2Nu is already "tune" like that so I can use other more incisive headphones (superlux HD681, hd440) without bees link.
Short for my use is almost perfect, 120 roros well invested.
It's time for my over 9002 pro artist who began to tire in the last century!
