News Line 6 Variax Standard

Line 6 introduces at NAMM 2015 a new Variax electric guitar designed in partnership with Yamaha.

The new Variax Standard can sound like any kind of electric, acoustic or exotic guitar thanks to its built-in modeling technology and with a simple command, you’ll access a large choice of tunings, including Open G, Drop D, DADGAD and custom tunings.

The guitar features a Strat-style alder body, a maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with two single coil pickups, a custom tremolo bridge and a GraphTech nut. It is available in Tobacco Sunburst, Vintage White and Midnight Black finishes.

The Line 6 Variax Standard guitar ships with the Workbench HD software with which you’ll cook your own instrument presets by combining any combination of body and pickups.

The Variax Standard will be available this Spring for the suggested price of 759 € incl. VAT. You’ll find more info soon at line6.com.
