I use the pro-DM8 for 1 month now. Newbie drumkit I bought in England for € 730 (yes). I have visited many forums and sites on e-drums' before I decided to buy it and I have no regrets. For that price there is no better I think.
Plus:
the snare in 12 "real mylar heads!;
The 8, 10 and 12 "toms (mylar real heads);
The area trimple ride with 'choke' and chrash with choke.

dynamic articulation of sounds. (Architecture and sounds of the DM8 idem DM10)
settings to do with the console.
Minimum:
+ A little noise as toms with mesh heads, but I am in the comfort of a small studio well isolated ... so no worries.
'Cable Snake' instead of cables TSR independent.
All toms are usually double area (Pad and rim), but the snare and used as two zones by the module.
