Hello, I am trying to set up multichannel recording of total 16 channels for iPAD by using scarlett 18i8 as an audio interface and saffire PRO40 as an ADAT extension.
On my iPAD, scarlett 18i8 works well and already gives me 8 channels as default. I want to add 8 more channels by ADAT extension. I set this combo on my laptop (setting 18i8 as sync to ADAT, saffire pro40 as internal) and tested them - works fine.

But when I connected 18i8 to my iPAD, 18i8 does not produce any audio although audio inputs are recognized as system(like on AUM) - I think the reason might be 18i8 is set as sync to ADAT. When I change sync option of 18i8 to internal, audio works again but audio from ADAT extension is not coming from saffire to 18i8 .

Is there any solution for this? Thank you so much.
