1 Conflict betweem Focusrite Control and iTunes - Updated for Clarification
Regularly when playing iTunes with the output going to through a Focusrite USB Audio interface iTunes continues playing the song, but but no sound comes out of the interface and is sent to the speakers. Sometimes this is accompanied by a loud buzzing. Stopping iTunes and restarting application usually temporarily solves the problem, though almost always the issue occurs fairly quickly. Sometimes I have reboot the computer to get the sound to play, but even after that the problem repeats.

- iTunes does not have this issue when I play sound going through a Steinberg UR44. USB interface and using the Yamaha ASIO driver.

- This behavior does not occur when playing music using the Windows Media Player or Transcribe applications.

Ideas?

Windows 11, always updated
Most current version of Focusrite Controller
Scarlett 18i20 Interface
88200 sample rate
192k buffer
