I've had six months, and I'm just dipping the subtlety of the beast ...
It's actually a clean boost with integrated noisegate!
Let me explain, there is a setting more sensitivity than usual-decay-attack, the level. To get sound coming out at the same volume as that between, it must be set very low, about 8-9 hours. Curious.
By pushing two hours, it boosts hairy. Therefore, I use it as a booster with built noisegate. I will pay my distortion in nice crunch, not a lot of noise even with simple, I go on nice fat full of lead by switching sustain the Harley. Me clean signal (no noisegate, well you know the single coils, hell).
UTILIZATION
Once understood the concept, easy to use. In normal use without the signal booster is more delicate but not difficult.
No switching noise, very good, and bypass transparent.
SOUND QUALITY
That's fine. No break unexpectedly, good settings available.
The attack even at the minimum is still long, gum just pick the first shot but it does not disturb mode booster.
on the other hand, there are more acute than bypass, it's not too natural. By using simple gate. By using the same boost highs are great for giving shape to solos.
I am very happy with the treatment!
OVERALL OPINION
I have a boss ns2 also a different animal (to plug in effects loop, volume unchanged deviation 9v top practice) that I recommend for standard use.
Even if only because it does not color the sound.
The Harley is unique in its boost mode, it would be a shame to miss out!
