"I like the lightweight (can easily carry two at a time, one in each hand. A stunning performance and power (do not hesitate with big amps), used only on foot (a bit tight on the recorded music), treble and bass present clear but fair. For voice or singing alone is exellent, even outdoors. The natural curve drops below 100Hz. facade Belle and sound better than other series Brand (JRX eon etc.). outskirts, many of the dynamic, great sound for live performance, with subwoofer indispensable ... The 2226 JBL go with anyway (that's what I have) but in the new series, there are many things in 18 inches (cons, it's also heavier and bulkier than my boxes in 2226, which is why I made this choice and also because I am little exteriors and large rooms).

Tested on music CDs. Compared to the Mackie SRM 450 old model, the medium is less rough, the top med is easier to control and acute rises higher and more natural. Compared to EV SX300, more "natural" and especially his best indoors. Compared to the old JBL 4726 AD, the sound is very close, maybe a little less nose into the medium, which makes it more natural and more precisely on the extreme treble.
-Value for money: a significant investment but the impression of versatility and power reserve make me I think, quickly forgetting the downpayment. Accepts powerful amplifiers and high yield.
-Repeat this choice? Recement I found a second pair in great condition for 650 euros, jump on the opportunity at this price there are few equivalents.
