Published on 01/14/11 at 14:06On pt hd, no problem of implementation, apart from finding the serial number of DSP cards .... Requires a utility to download on a site recommended by notice. Easy download. No compatibility problems with Mac OS Snow Leopard. Mac Pro Intel xeon
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
etc. .... Pt hd with no worries of performance (considering the price is the least we can do ...) config perfect for small audio projects (up to 40-50 tracks). The offer is PT9 plugins available with decent air plugins are usable and convincing their presets. I still recommend adding more plugins to vary the colors and treatments, I bought a Universal Audio uad2 to increase the capacity mix. Not recommended version of ssl duende firewire. The Mac can not handle two devices simultaneously in firewire (difficult if like me you have a firewire external hard drives like Lacie .....) glyph or other plugins are perfect for wave PT9 (hd or elsewhere Pt ....)
OVERALL OPINION
hd since early 2007 (pt7.0) and pt hd 9 from December 2010. I'm just editing complex share a beat detective. It seems that the audio edition is limited compared to other software. Treat yourself to the keyboard shortcuts with pro tools (or paste a sticker on the keyboard) it helps! I add a control to mix with 8 motorized faders. The c24 or icon is probably expensive but vital to achieve the highest level of professional work. I can not work without Pro Tools. Nuendo is my second choice, having worked with from 2001 to 2007 ....
