I got this pedal online with musicianfriend.com it cost me $95.00.I was looking for a good distortion effect pedals With alot of gain and easy to use. That gives me quality tone with my guitars thought a clean amp or slightly overdriven amp.Why i acquired this pedal was because the jackhammer has two mode overdrive and distortion. The overdrive gives me traditional marshall sound like a JCM 800 style amp.The Distortion delivers more high gain like a JCM 2000 model. Also the jackhammer features a stunning contour control. This allows you to scoop certain frequencies from your tone.and If your in to moving the wall in your house this is the pedal for you.

This pedal is easy to use it's like playing with alot of amps at the same time. The range of tones are great through a clean amp at full volume. The settings are easy for me to experiment as much as i want.It is also built like a brick house.

This pedal features 2 modes to capture both the JCM800 crunch, and the extreme JCM2000 Lead sound .Besides the mode switch, the pedal has controls for gain, volume,mid-contour,bass,and treble. All wrap up in a rugged metal case and features passive bypass. For those who like a good thing in a small box.

Marshall amps have been with use since 1962 .This pedal gives use guality that marshall can give. The jackhammer has very thing that a guitar player wants alot of balls and classic marshall tone at a good price. This pedal is for all guitarists on very level of playing.
