Korean semi-hollow copy of the Gibson ES 175
UTILIZATION
Channel enjoyable for all kinds of use. If not, what say? This is a semi-hollow (no center beam) not too heavy and well équilibée. The finishes are done for this price range. As in other reviews, I find the pickups a bit bland. I wanted to change the bridge pickup for a phat cat in the Seymour Duncan and I got the model run! Out of curiosity, I mounted ... WATCHAA! If you have a hollow body and is not quite "harsh" for you, go for it for phat cats. Raahh, with a slight crunch (mmh. ..). For more jazz sounds, lower the tone (fastoche). I use 2 microphones together and I add sharp by adjusting the volume of the phat cat with microphones chevalet.7 original 10 with these little wonders.
SOUNDS
In a classic 30 peavey for blues and rock "old school" is in-fact! For the reggae, I plug it all on a fender twin (unfortunately not mine). More dynamic than that, you die
. In addition, I love playing with feedback and there is nickel.
OVERALL OPINION
It's been almost 3 years that I have (with 2 SD) and I play all the time in my various formations (song latin-soul-funky-jazzy www.misterbouldegom.com ( http://www.misterbouldegom.com ) ), blues / rock, reggae). No big distos then, and in these configurations, the dynamic is true to the game (and errors). I think changing the bridge pickup for something more "PAF" but of course the phat cat will scratch another (ES 335 copy). Basically, for less than 700 euros I have a stack scratch coat for what I play.
