Nickel: A model of simplicity. Miss the nuclear installation / registration the first time is almost impossible.
Bugs:
- Some problems with backup reminders Guitar Rig 3 (in effect I put on a bus each track ddi GR3). Nothing serious, but a small check each launch ncessaire, even if you have done a "save" your guitar presets, while all my other plugs and VSTi (UAD plugs, Massive, FM8, Absynth , Kontakt, EZDrummer, Trilogy, Pro53, etc ...) come back exactly as I have laisss, even if no backup of the modified preset.
- SPECIFICATIONS EZDrummer a problem (identified by Toontrack rsolu but not yet present) who eats three times the first four shots almost every time a loop drag & drop in Acid and ncessite a readjustment hand a bit tedious but which one ends deal almost without thinking after a while ... Boring even when it seems their rsister bug again in 2008 ...
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Trs good stability in use reasonable and good habits once made (easy if you have a version of antrieure Acid) ... even if the crash tests come soon enough after his flegmme freezent and all without lgance until expulsion of the author and back office to reload ... That said, the audio switches from noon is very simple so it bypasses the problem rather aisment ds we got the hang (no worse than any other DAW or better I think) .
Routings trs simple and logical (once you understand the logic tracks / bus / master particulire but just so much easier than the competition even when, to my APRS).
A lower limit for certain: only one window VSTi (impossible to view both your Drummer and Synth: zapper need one another ... but sometimes Chianti is taken quickly and suddenly Guard has a fairly clear office (that said, I'm using a double notch ... ...). Ms. limit for windows or FX plug (one time ... at once take). It does not really GNER those who like to watch all the little cursor moving and pretty diodes to clingcling ...
OVERALL OPINION
DEFINITIONS The v6 is a major step toward the trs adulthood by intgration MIDI trs intuitive form (and forms of avecmultiple edition easy piano roll, event list, etc. ...). So even if the TRS is complte bte (and a bit more challenging to beginners, no doubt), has still much simpler approach that DAW market leaders for the excellent Ergonomics is primarily thought to keep the head and the zic fun.
So if you just like me a V4 or V5, is quite impressive and trs oprationnel quickly as we keep the spirit of the visual tracker loop which made its success (and our pleasure zic to last more than computers!). It is always much rgale dplacer / pull / grind loops and cause Creations cratives and unexpected in a few seconds (and I'm just the rock and the song! Or techno, or ambient, or D & B, etc ... My small online component of AF are all made with 100% Acid + SForge). An instrument or DAW can also be a real tool cratif: Acid did! With MIDI, it is finally the big leagues with the agility of small.
Just the small inquitude lasted over by Sony that looks probably more market share in monitoring rinvestir / dveloppement ... Vigilance so ...
That said, despite these comments (especially give prvenir before you purchase to avoid a dconvenue beginners) I will not change for anything yet! And coupling with Soundforge 9 is always on top of the hair. One winning couple for pleasure without making cabbage (after taking a few small habits / checks evokes above).
WITH ACID, ON ACCOUNT OF THE ZIC, and if it is less eye tape is also often less expensive and time matriser! And without in December ', the 9 / 10 is really not EXAGRES.
