«  a very good guitar! »

Published on 05/26/11 at 09:55
the beautiful is manufactured in Asia, has a tremolo bigsby B50, a mahogany neck with 22 frets markers shaped pearlescent nail half on top of boxes, pickups are Gretsch mini-humbuckers.
everything is routed with a 3 position switch and 2 knobs, volume and tone.
the body is beautiful mahogany and is topped with a maple top that you can not see because it is under a layer of glossy black paint.
a pearl pickguard is housed below the center of the table to protect it from nasty shots plectrum guitarists brutal.
nothing wrong with the above and is well finished and exudes good guitar ...

UTILIZATION

the handle is very comfortable, really, I got felt comfortable Desuite!
Ergonomics is very well suited for the guitar playing seated it comes without problems Rely on the knees and seems well balanced.
for access to acute and I found that there is no pain ...
this guitar sounds great, very warm sound that can play jazz without problem with the neck pickup, sounds good and clear slap in the middle position and good old rock 'n roll Dad on the mic acute.

SOUNDS

it's not really the style of guitar that sticks to what I play now, rock saturated very much excited to see ...
but I can see the play again with ...
as I said above, the jazz neck pickup, arpeggios and well clear slap in the middle position and rock the mic acute.
I plugged in a Blackstar HT5 and was pleasantly surprised by the dynamics of micro, precision, heat is what living!
I liked almost everything about this gretsch!

OVERALL OPINION

I just tried to milonga this afternoon.
Questions guitars tested, I tested the cars! (See my profile)
what I liked; sound!, mouth year 60, the microphones sounds very surprising (I was expecting a sound too hard and breaks the ears and I was pleasantly surprised!) the pearl pickguard, gretsch knobs controls the bigsby, the handle really accurate and comfortable.
I did not like; tuning not very stable because of the bigsby.
basically it is a very good guitar that changes the standard fender and gibson but gibson is closer in spirit and can really cover a lot of styles (I even dabbled in funk!) with and it is not at all expensive (560 €), so that you ask for?!
