A potato hell for 338w! :-) (Martin - RUSH MH 1 Profile)

By djhkl, 04/09/2013
I just received two! The last series in Martin has cracked me the price, the LED, and the technical characteristics of the latter. (I already have scans led Chinese 60w and I had enjoyed the power led ...)

I have not tested other models before buying it, but for now it does not seem to me that this little beast have direct competitor, or at least, very little ...

In addition I already put all the potential benefits of LED: Featherweight 18kg (! For all these functions), does not heat, light almost as much as the 575w discharge. What I like most is the colors are really well chosen, although some combinations of the two color wheels are sometimes useless ... Another strong point is the dimmer is really straight and does not jolts on the first valeures DMX. The index of the colors to put two colors are also welcome! Last interesting detail, the powercon In and Out: For 338w, needless to say we can daisy chain a dozen on the phase 16A regardless of buggery shot ... : P

On the negative side, an iris that does not close to 100% certain combinations of colors unnecessary (already mentioned), and some gobos too small, so it is impossible to adjust the focus for a net that perfect = drool next! Too bad because several gobos were well chosen ... Regarding the manual provided with it is totally wrong in color, and therefore difficult to create the fixture on the PC (I had to redo everything later).

In terms of price / quality ratio, I still think Martin has released an interesting product! It is expensive, but it's Martin, and we have a product that would have cost 3-4 times more expensive it five years ago, with a light to change, which heats much, consumes too heavy and lyre!

For me, good for the service, I intend to take 2 or 4, then turn towards the Rush MH-2 wash to complete this! :-)

- How long have you use it?

A little over a week (so I do not know the reliability over time)

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?

In LED PAR not that much but what I just said is that it sends (and RGBW is much better than the simple RGB)

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?

+: Silent (small integrated fan), powerful, RGB + White, 5-pin DMX ...
-: Screen, I do not like how it's damn menus, and angle: 20 ° I preferred 10-12 °

- How would you rate the quality / price?

Relatively good

- With experience, you do again this choice?

Yes I plan to take other

How long have you use it?
I saw a demo at my supplier and I 'found it very powerful (2R lamp with Philips) I found that the flower effects were very fluid and sharp (net) it is easily two extrem normal Wizar 1 and a half I think in terms of light output and effects.

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
In our organization we have 3 and 2 regular extrem wizard wizard so yes tested and re tested.

What is so special that you like most and least?
the price I would have thought they would have come out to 1500euros but not even 1200euros, it is much more légé 8kilos believe me this kind of mass projo very important, it is a bit less high but gains in width, it consumes much less and much less expensive lamp and also by the aesthetics against already before I was not a big fan but the new generation is even more hideous (this is only my opinion), it is less intensive electric cons, voilou that happiness ...

How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Ben pleasantly surprised by a dice disign as I could I procurerais sure if that's for me projects materialize I choperais at least 4
